Gundi is a first-of-its-kind collaboration formed to enable conservationists with the tools they need to manage and protect wildlife. Connecting technologies and people - Gundi accelerates innovation to address common challenges and support a diverse ecosystem of conservation tools.

Mission

The mission of Gundi is to simplify data exchange between technologies to enable conservation solutions to leverage data from a myriad of different sources and empower conservationists to use the best tools they need to protect wildlife.

We envision a world where all conservation areas have optimal access to data and knowledge to inform decision-making and action.

Our Approach

Gundi's approach to deliver includes the following:

Building the open-source platform (Gundi), which integrates data from sensors and other data sources and makes these data available to consuming conservation applications.
Facilitating collaboration with and between technology developers, practitioners, and researchers to improve interoperability and integration of conservation data.
Promoting information sharing on physical and virtual sensors.
